MFCC Kids Connection Groups for adoptees, children in foster care and siblings are broken down into 3 courses throughout the year:
Discover, Explore and Share.
Children are welcome to join us for any one course, or are welcome to attend all 3 throughout the year. All groups meeting concurrently during a 6 week session focus on the same area, fostering opportunities for family connection and conversation around the group material. Groups are limited to 6 children, and are led by our children’s counselor, Becca Tarleton, MSW.
- Courses run for 6 weeks and the groups are divided by age: Littles (5-8), Middles (9-12), Teens (13-16)
- Children can join one course in any of the focus areas, or are welcome to attend all 3 throughout the year. Each course is a stand alone experience.
- Groups meet for one hour a week, and full attendance for the session is strongly encouraged.
- Cost of the group courses is $65, with need-based scholarships available. Upon registering, you’ll receive instructions to apply for financial assistance if needed.
