FAMILY CARE & PARENT MENTOR
Ruth is a lifelong Memphian and considers it a privilege to be a part of a team that will serve foster and adoptive families through MFCC. She and her husband David have been married 29 years in June and have two adult daughters also serving in the community in various capacities. Ruth graduated from Baptist School of Nursing and has an associates degree in nursing. She has been trained in Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) and has begun implementing these principles in an international ministry. David and Ruth are founder and co-founder of Point of Impact Global Missions, a non-profit organization that feeds, tutors and provides medical care to children in impoverished communities in Honduras. Ruth is thrilled to serve MFCC in the parent mentor program and as a family care coordinator.
