Speech Therapist

Annie is originally from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, but has a big heart for the city of Memphis. A long-held desire to foster led to online research where she found Memphis Family Connection Center, but has fallen in love with the mission, the staff, and the clients. She enjoys working with children with speech, language, and feeding needs in a play-based setting. The trauma-informed approach is close to her heart and evident in all sessions she performs. She loves collaborating with families to achieve the goals desired for their children in the areas of speech, language, and feeding. She also has a passion for teaching speech pathology students and helping them discover their areas of strengths. She has pediatric speech therapy experience in a NICU setting and an outpatient clinic. On sunny days, you can find her at Shelby Farms Dog Park with her dog, Belle, and on rainy days you can find her creating art.

Annie earned her Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Memphis and Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the Mississippi State University. Go Dawgs!
