Family Care Team & Parent Mentor

Erin Crenshaw was born in Florida and raised in Memphis. She graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Child and Family Studies. After college and a short stint in Nashville, she and her husband, Brian, moved to Memphis to help launch a church and live out their passion to serve in the inner city of Memphis. That experience opened their eyes to trauma and the impact of trauma on children, families, communities, cities, and culture.

Erin has worked with children most of her life, and serving children is something she and Brian have always desired to be a huge part of their family and professions.  They have four children, and have grown their family both biologically and through adoption. Today, she is thankful to get to serve alongside the MFCC team and is a life-long learner about trauma and its impacts. Erin is also a trained TBRI® Practitioner. She is passionate to see healing mentally, emotionally, socially, and culturally. In her spare time, Erin loves spending time with family and friends, running, playing with her kids, and just being with people.
