Training Specialist
Over the past decade, George has served youth, young adults, and families through social services, urban ministry, and addiction recovery. He is passionate about seeing people achieve holistic health (mental, emotional, and spiritual) as they grow into the person God has created them to be. He is excited about his role at MFCC as he gets to play a tangible role in training organizations, churches, and communities to be trauma-informed. He received his degree from Lambuth University where he focused his studies on Psychology and Religion. He is a Board Certified Biblical Counselor through the International Board of Christian Care, a division of the American Association of Christian Counselors. Currently, he is working towards a Masters of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. George enjoys spending time with his wife and son, whom they had last year. Additionally, he likes to workout, read, attend local sporting events, and make new memories with his family.
