Occupational Therapist

Mistie is an occupational therapist at MFCC and has a deep love for working with children. She attended undergraduate studies at Freed Hardeman University and then received her Masters of Occupational Therapy from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2011. Mistie has experience in both pediatric and adult settings and has a passion for learning new treatment techniques and anything related to sensory integration. She is certified in the use of thermal and electrical modalities and has been trained as a Therapeutic Listening provider.  Mistie enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and golden retriever (Abbie) as well as activities at church, running, and anything crafty.
