Our Process

As an integrated, multidisciplinary care center, all interested clients begin the process of getting services by filling out the intake form. This initial step helps us know the best ways to support you.

After you submit the Intake Form, you will be contacted by a member of our Family Care Team within 2-3 business days to discuss the specifics of your circumstances and what steps to take next.

If you are an adult seeking services for yourself or as a couple, a member of our Family Care Team will contact you to assess if our services will meet your expressed needs, as well as discuss availability and scheduling.

If you are a parent/caregiver seeking services for your child and/or family, an initial intake appointment will be scheduled. Our intake appointments provide a safe space for our team to get to know the unique needs of your child and family. The intake appointments are approximately an hour and should only be attended by the parent(s)/caregiver(s).

A self-pay Intake Appointment fee of $75 covers:

The Intake Appointment with parent(s)/caregiver(s).

Access to our Foundations for Care e-course – This online, at your own pace, e-course (approximately 2.5 hrs) must be completed prior to the child’s first therapeutic appointment. Foundations for Care lays a solid foundation for parents and caregivers to build strong healthy connections with their children as well as establish a shared vocabulary between parent(s)/caregiver(s) and our providers. This shared vocabulary allows families to participate more effectively in setting family and individual treatment goals.

Access to our Connecting Practices Handbook ebook. The Connecting Practices Handbook is our “pocket guide” to trauma informed, connected caregiving. The handbook supplements the Foundations for Care e-course and provides another layer of continued support for parent(s)/caregiver(s) committed to implementing best parenting practices in their homes.

Access to our monthly “Community and Care” online group. This group is open to all MFCC client families who desire to implement our Connecting Practices as they support their child at home. The open group format also creates an opportunity for parent(s)/caregiver(s) and families to connect with one another.

Individualized Family Care Plan – Once the intake appointment has been completed, our Family Care Team will work together to create a Family Care Plan for the family. Parent(s)/caregiver(s) will then have the opportunity to determine which services they would like to take advantage of, and are always free to return to the care plan to make adjustments.

Throughout the process, our team is just a phone call away – to provide insight, a creative look and strategies as needed.
