Child and Family Therapist

Rachel is a Licensed School Psychologist and TBRI® practitioner. She received her Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Memphis in 2015. Rachel primarily works with children and adolescents who have experienced complex developmental trauma. She also specializes in treating children with developmental and mood disorders, including ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, anxiety disorders, and depression. Her training in psychology also facilitates her ability to differentiate between diagnoses and identify specific areas to target for intervention.

In addition to therapy, Rachel is also one of our lead trainors. She works closely with schools, organizations, and churches to improve trauma-informed practices. When Rachel is not working at MFCC, she stays busy with her family. Her husband, mother, and three children (10, 5, and 3 years old) live on a small farm with goats, pigs, chickens, cats, and dogs. Other hobbies include exploring nature, gardening, photography, travel, and collecting antiques.
