SPEECH THERAPIST
Annie is originally from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, but has a big heart for the city of Memphis. With a desire to foster and adopt in the future, Annie is thrilled to join the MFCC team and be a part of this community. She enjoys working with children with speech and language needs in a play-based setting. She loves collaborating with families to achieve the goals desired for their children. Also, she has a passion for teaching speech pathology students and helping them discover their areas of strengths. In addition to her part-time position at MFCC, she works as a graduate student supervisor at the University of Memphis and an inpatient speech therapist at Methodist South. She has pediatric speech therapy experience in a NICU setting and an outpatient clinic. On sunny days, you can find her at Shelby Farms Dog Park with her dog, Belle, and on rainy days you can find her creating art.
Annie earned her Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Memphis and Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the Mississippi State University. Go Dawgs!
